Families & Kids

We want End of the Road to be a festival that everyone can enjoy - thats why this year we are trying to ensure that the festival is particularly family friendly. There is a dedicated family camping area at the festival. This area is next to the Staff Campsite, which hopefully means that it’s slightly quieter than the rest of the campsite. It is also located close to essentials, like toilets, water and showers, as well as the children's entertainment we have to offer.

End of the Road prides itself on being an intimate and friendly festival. The festival site is small and easy to get around. There are a number of Information Points, St Johns Ambulance Station, as well as steward and security points who will all help you to have a pleasant festival experience. However, should you become separated from your little one for any reason we will be giving children wristbands that you can write your mobile number on - this way, one of our festival team of stewards will be able to call you and reunite you with your children as soon as possible!

The site has lots of open spaces and wooded areas to explore and a fantastic adventure playground. And our dedicated children's and family area will offer more performances, workshops and activities than ever before - divided over three dedicated tents in a safe corner of the site.

We are planning to have (subject to confirmation) -

  • Circus Workshops from Circus Kaos.
  • Juggling Performances from Solo Circus
  • Tatty Bumpkin Yoga for Kids
  • Storytelling
  • Parachute and Cooperation games
  • Puppet Shows
  • Puppet Workshops
  • Singing Sessions
  • Drama workshops
  • Stop Motion Animation
  • Creative Writing workshops
  • Clay Modelling
  • Craft and Art Activities
  • Childrens Toys and Games

In the evenings one of the venues will be taken over by Hunga Munga for music and craft making for adults.

We hope with all this we will have more than enough to keep the whole family entertained over a 3 day weekend!
