Spectrals - “Bad Penny”
Had a load of fun working with Louis again on the artwork for his debut LP, “Bad Penny”. The new record is more up-tempo than his previous “Extended Play” EP, taking influence from slick seventies soul, The Style Council and “dad-rock”.
We decided with that in mind, the new LP needed a serious injection of colour, whilst again combining a collection of era-suitable typefaces.
“Bad Penny” is being released by Wichita Records (The Cribs, Bloc Party, Lovvers..) on the 17th October in the United Kingdom. It’s also seeing a release through Slumberland Records (The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Crystal Stilts..) In the United States on 25th October.
