Motel Motel is an indie folk/rock band based in Brooklyn, New York, with roots in Denver, Colorado.
The band members are Eric Engel, Mickey Theis, Timothy Sullivan, Jeremy Duvall and Erik Gundel. They are self-described as "shwag rock" but their distinctive style has also been called "rattling, old-timey country" and "garage-Americana".
In the spring of 2007,The band released an EP entitled "Old York". The single "Coffee" appears on the EP along with the tracks Mexico, Cocaine, Marie, and Magic. In July 2008, they released their full length album "New Denver".
