Citizens of poly-rhythm city, or Oxford as it is more commonly known, Jonquil have spent several years fine tuning their craft with shows all over Europe, taking in both Latitude and Glasto along the way, two DIY LP releases with Try Harder and an awesome EP that only came out on the continent for some reason or other. They've played a whole host of supports, from A Silver Mt. Zion to Efterklang and this year have been out on the road for some massive shows with Bombay Bicycle Club and Foals, and right now the band really seem to be on the cusp of something great.
The band have an almost totally redefined sound, and an arsenal of all-killer-no-filler good time jams that is quietly being assembled from their new studio buried under east Oxford, and have several releases internationally in the pipeline for this coming fall / winter.
