Drum Eyes

Drum Eyes played at End Of The Road Festival 2011.

Brighton’s Drum Eyes are surely one of the more intense bands to break out in the last couple of years. Lead by experimental gabba hero DJ SCOTCH EGG with a band of brothers (and sister) the line up includes ex-BOREDOMS drummer E-da amongst others combining duelling drums with pulsating bass, violin, guitar and keyboards to form a devastating and mind expanding live show that's towering and hypnotic, yet also sunny and rippling.

Their debut album "Gira Gira" on dependably offbeat label Upset the Rhythm (LUCKY DRAGONS, JOHN MAUS, NO AGE) received unrelenting critical acclaim upon its release in 2010. Described by The Quietus as "demagnetised with an impish curiosity, and its point-of-no-return descent into fearless volcanism" in some parts, and overall "Egg and his Drummers are unarguably throbbing as entirely to their own beat as any of 2010's finest".
