Among Brothers

Among Brothers played at End Of The Road Festival 2011.

Among Brothers are a six-piece band from Cardiff, often compared to Efterklang, Anathallo, and Grammatics. They fuse electronic rhythms, theatrical chants and percussive flourishes to create vibrant pop-influenced arrangements anchored by narrative themes.
They released their debut EP 'Homes' in January, which has received heavy rotation on BBC Introducing (regional and national). Their track 'Sam, Isaiah and the Wolf' was chosen by Bethan Elfyn (BBC Introducing) as one of her top tracks of 2010, alongside bands like Warpaint, Foals and Islet. They have also featured on our compilation 'Zero Years Of Barely Regal' and more recently on The 405's compilation: 'Heroes Of January And February', which also featured Toro Y Moi, Vessels and Munch Munch. Last year the band played one of the main slots on the Barely Regal stage at SWN Festival, to an 'at capacity' venue. This year the band have been asked to support Jeniferever and Hjaltalin on their Cardiff dates, and The Thermals in Bristol among other shows. In addition the band is to be featured in the April/May issue of NYLON Guys' "listen up" section.
